The H8 Emulator is distributed in as-is condition as freeware. The emulation is believed to be correct to the extent that its features have been tested by the author. However, no representations are made as to fitness to purpose or suitability to solve any general class of computing problem.

HDOS 1.6 and HDOS 2.0, and the applications distributed with them, appear to operate correctly. No claim is made regarding the correctness of execution of user-written programs. Some issues are specifically called out in Emulator Limitations, but due to the large number of potential differences in user-written software, this list is not represented as being comprehensive or complete.

The user is allowed, and encouraged, to redistribute this emulator for noncommercial purposes, providing that this copyright notice is preserved in the distributed package, and further provided that the package is distributed at no cost except for the cost, if any, of media and/or shipping and handling.
